In an article for the Canberra Times , Gender Institute member Kim Rubenstein argues that addressing the lack of women in the high court should remain a priority. In light of the appointment of Geoffrey Nettle QC, as the replacement for the retiring Justice Susan Crennan on the High Court of Australia, there have been renewed calls for a mandated commitment to at least 40 per cent composition of either gender.
