IWD afternoon tea and welcome to Dr Patricia Plummer

The Gender Institute is holding an informal afternoon tea to mark International Women's day 2016 from 1.30-2.20pm with some tea/coffee and macaroons (those of you who were at our inaugural opening event may remember those green, white and purple macaroons).

We will also welcome at that afternoon tea the recently arrived Gender Institute and HRC Visitor Professor, Dr Patricia Plummer. While visiting Patricia will be giving an HRC seminar titled 'Female leadership in popular culture: the case of Borgen'. She will also be giving two public lectures on Louisa Haynes Le Freimann, one in Canberra and one in Sydney.

Please RSVP for the purpose of ordering sufficient macaroons (!), and to let us know if you can join us to welcome Patricia and gather to jointly mark IWD 2016.
