HomeGender Institute EventsWhat Are The Possibilities of Feminist Regulation?
What are the possibilities of feminist regulation?
This informal planning session is open to those interested in participating in an interdisciplinary dialogue around questions of regulation and feminist praxis. By regulation, we mean a wide range of activities that influence events, not simply law and policy.

What, for example, are the pressing and emergent challenges for feminist agendas in the contemporary moment? How can regulation respond, and what are its limits? How do different strands of feminist thought prompt us to reconsider the dimensions of regulation? What could feminist approaches to regulation look like, and how might they vary across contexts, regions, and domains of social activity?

Presented by the ANU Gender Institute and the Regulatory Institutions Network (RegNet).
