This seminar brings together interdisciplinary academics and artists whose research engages with Australian magazines, to share and present works in progress. The seminar will involve short, informal presentations by researchers as well as larger roundtable discussions about new methodological approaches to researching Australian magazines. Our discussions will be broad and multidisciplinary, with particular focuses on the magazine as a material object, the ways that magazines created social networks, as well as the ongoing importance and relevance of researching magazine histories.
