Advancing Afghan Women's Rights - Women's Market
The ANU Gender Institute is supporting 16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence (25 Nov – 10 December) with an event on Advancing Afghan Women’s Rights.
This includes a women’s market where organisations will be selling wares from Afghanistan to raise funds for the Afghan women and programs they support.

Where: Hedley Bull Building, the Atrium
When: 25 November, 1-2pm
What: There will be all sorts of beautiful items on offer that will make great gifts as we come into the Christmas season.
We anticipate such items as:
- Quality Afghan woollen carpets
- Woven ottomans/footstools
- Traditional Afghan jewellery
- Afghan saffron
- Felted slippers
- Embroidered items
