Women in Research Citation Awards

In partnership with the Australian National University (ANU), Thomson Reuters IP & Science would like to invite you to attend the inaugural Women in Research Citation Awards.

Highly cited Australian female researchers will be recognised for their outstanding contribution to research. Please join in the celebration for these highly esteemed women of researchers, and hear their views and perspectives of Australian research.

Hosted by Professor Brian Schmidt, Vice-Chancellor of the ANU, himself a recipient in 2008, speakers will include, Dr Susan Pond, a member of Science in Australia Gender Equity (SAGE) program and her national and international contributions in medicine, biotechnology and renewable energy. While high-impact researchers have been recognised in award ceremonies since 2001, these are the first awards to focus on Australian women researchers.
