Women, power, money

Presented by the ANU College of Business and Economics, this one-day symposium discusses the complex and challenging issues around gender and leadership.

Join us as we examine equality in the workplace, pay parity, expectations around women and leadership, and the economics of women in the workforce. Keynote speaker, Professor Michelle Ryan, is a Professor of Social and Organisational Psychology at the University of Exeter, UK. Professor Ryan’s presentation Women and Leadership: Cliffs, Gaps, and Revolutions will explore the reasons why women continue to be under-represented in a range of sectors and leadership roles.

Other speakers featured at this event include Professor Renee Adams (UNSW), Jacky Hodges (ABS), Barbara Heilemann (Positive Leadership/Monash), Simon Brown-Greaves (FBG Group) and ANU academics Professor Bob Gregory and Professor Robert Breunig.
