Women careers panel and networking evening

The ANU Circle for Gender Equity in collaboration with The Australian National Committee for UN Women are hosting a Women Careers Panel & Networking Evening.

Speakers include: 

  • Stephanie Waddon, Director at PwC (Pricewaterhouse Coopers)
  • Grace Hill, Fundraising & Programs Coordinator at The Australian National Committee for UN Women 

The speakers will present for 10 minutes individually followed by a Q&A session. 

Following, networking will begin with light snacks and drinks available. Registration is not required. 

Attendance is free, although, we encourage the purchase of raffle tickets with all proceeds being donated to support the work of UN Women Australia. We will also be holding a raffle with prizes including hampers with: the book 'Give Me Courage' by Lenuta Hellen, an autobiography of a woman who experienced violence, boxes of chocolate and bottles of wine. 

This event is open to students and staff at The ANU as well as members of the broader Canberra community. 

The ANUCGE is a student group promoting critical discussion and awareness regarding gender in different cultural contexts. You can find out more about the group and their events on their Facebook page.
