Stella Fellas unite against human trafficking

Canberra Stella Fella Party

Australian anti-human trafficking charity, Project Futures, once again join forces with The Salvation Army for their annual Stella Fella campaign — recognising men and boys committed to protecting and valuing all humans, while raising vital funds and awareness to combat human trafficking.

As part of the campaign, the Canberra Stella Fella Party will feature a panel of philanthropists including Lauren Renshaw from Australian Institute of Criminology and Tom Bavinton the CEO of Sexual Heath and Family Planning ACT to talk about the importance of taking a stand on human trafficking in Australia.

Stella Fella provides a platform to educate men and boys in the community about the issue of human trafficking and modern day slavery and to encourage them to become part of the solution.  By celebrating ‘stella’ men in the community who are taking action against this global crime, we are encouraging Australians to say 'No' to the exploitation of men, women and children and 'No' to human trafficking and modern day slavery.
