Catherine McGrath will be joining WomenWise™ to share her fabulous wisdom and practical advice on speaking up and out and making presentations.

Catherine McGrath is an award-winning national and international broadcast journalist. For three decades Catherine McGrath has shared her political insights with Australian audiences. She joined SBS in 2015 and led a team of reporters, editors and camera crew in Parliament House. Before that, Catherine held a succession of senior roles at the ABC, where she enjoyed tenures as ABC Asia editor, political editor of the Australia Network, chief political correspondent of ABC Radio and ABC South East Asia correspondent. Catherine now runs Catherine McGrath Media providing, among other things, coaching in speaking and training specifically for women on speaking and doing presentations.

WomenWise™ welcomes mid-career women in Canberra from diverse backgrounds to share experiences and ideas on handling the challenges they face in building their careers. They meet on a bi-monthly basis. A senior woman joins for each session to share her wisdom in conversation—giving a small group access to some of our great women leaders in Canberra for a frank and relaxed exchange of ideas.
