Scientist at the pub

The Australian Society of Medical Research, University of Canberra (UC) Health Research Institute and UC-Science in Australia Gender Equity jointly present Scientist at the Pub.

Guest speaker, Professor Sudha Rao (Head of Epigenetic and Transcription Regulation Laboratory, UC) will be speaking about her aspirations when she first graduated from Keele University, UK with a BSc (Hon) degree and a PhD from University of London, Kings College afterwards. See her biography here. She will also share with the audience the challenges she has faced and overcome as a woman researcher. Lastly, she will speak about her and her team’s current work and recent development in the context of epigenetics and metastatic breast cancer.
