The Round-the-World Breakfast is an opportunity for every YWCA globally to come together in honouring the contributions for women leaders in YWCAs and their communities. The breakfast is a fundraising initiative of the Global Power to Change Fund, which invests in the leadership development of women and girls to advance social changes around the world.

This year our Guest Speaker will be Penny Williams, Global Ambassador for Women and Girls. Penny Williams was appointed Australia's first Global Ambassador for Women and Girls in 2011and is responsible for high-level advocacy to promote Australian Government policies.

Ms Williams will be speaking about her own personal leadership journey and the amazing work she does regarding women, peace and security agenda and the Pacific.

The YWCA of Canberra will also be announcing the successful applicants of the 2013 Great Ydeas Small Grants Program.
