Pushing through the glass ceiling: Empowerment and risk-taking

Following CEDA's successful Women in Leadership events since 2010, and the launch of the CEDA's first Women in Leadership report in September 2011, CEDA's Women in Leadership events series will again be held across the country.

While women have been in the workforce for over a century, they are still disappointingly under-represented in leadership roles. The series aims to advance the discussion about women as leaders, the changes required to move more women into leadership and senior management positions, and how Australia can close the gender gap.

Speakers at the Canberra event will be: Gai Brodtmann MP, Member for Canberra; Professor Alison Booth, Professor of Economics, Australian National University, and; Dr Ian Watt AO, Secretary, Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.
