NTEU bluestocking week 2017

Bluestocking Week is an annual week celebrating the importance and achievements of women in higher education. Bluestocking Week is an initiative of the NTEU Women’s Action Committee, chaired by National President Jeannie Rea and coordinated by the National Office in cooperation with Divisions' women’s committees/networks and local Branches.

This year the theme of Blusestocking Week is 'Worth 100%' - highlighting the gendered pay gap in Australia. This event recognises the gender pay gap with our ticket pricing - our prices are 16% less for women, reflecting the current 16% pay gap (according to WGEA).
