Are you a gender and sexuality Higher Degree by Research (HDR) student at ANU, looking to connect with other students?

The GI HDR community aims to:
1. Facilitate networking opportunities among gender and sexuality HDR students to build a supportive community within the academic realm.
2. Encourage open discussions about future directions in research, including potential conferences, research retreats, and seminars, to enhance collaboration and exchange of ideas.
3. Foster a sense of belonging and inclusivity among HDR students, promoting a supportive and empowering environment for academic and personal growth.

The GI HDR network will be meeting for the first time on Friday 19 July at 4pm in the RSSS Auditorium.

Meeting Objective: An informal afternoon tea event aimed at fostering connections and discussions among gender and sexuality HDR students. The meeting will provide a platform for students to share ideas, discuss future directions, and offer suggestions for conferences, research retreats, and seminars. There will be a brief opening address from the Gender Institute. A post-event survey will be sent out to attendees asking for suggestions for future Gender HDR collaborations.
