Oxford Women's Leadership Symposium 2013

Organisers of Oxford Women’s Leadership Symposium are pleased to invite individuals and institutions to participate in the 2013 Symposium on 5 and 6 December.

The Symposium is interdisciplinary in nature and seeks to cover a broad reach of women’s leadership issues in both the public and private sectors. The expectation is that much of the discourse will be concerned with cultural, religious, social, and economic conditions of women and the initiatives that may be most effective in the remediation of the various forms of gender discrimination.

The invitaiton is to present a paper on an aspect of Women’s Studies, or to attend as an observer or panel member.

The Symposium will be held at The Old Library in the Oxford University Church of St Mary. Constructed in 1320, The Old Library is the first university (as opposed to college) building in Oxford and therefore uniquely important; this is where the nascent University began.

This meeting is a sequel to an earlier session held in London in 2012.

Papers presented at the meeting will be subsequently peer reviewed by external readers for possible inclusion in Symposium Books or in sponsored academic journals.

Further informaiton and a list of topics is available at Oxford Women’s Leadership Symposium website linked below.
