Pacific Funds 2024

This program aims at fostering regional integration of French communities (New Caledonia, French Polynesia and the Wallis and Futuna Islands) and develop regional cooperation with the Oceania States. Submitted projects must be co-designed with French organisations from at least one French Pacific territory. Particular attention will be given to projects on climate change and disaster resilience, food or health security, or projects contributing to the strengthening or economic exchanges in the region. Besides these themes, preference will be given to projects that advance equality between men and women.

FASIC 2024

The objective of this program is to develop academic, scientific and technological exchanges of excellence between laboratories in both countries, by encouraging new cooperation and the participation of young researchers. Submitted projects must be joint research or teaching projects involving at least a French and an Australian research partner. A matching fund from the partnering Australian research institution is mandatory and will stand as one of the eligibility criteria of the submitted projects. A letter of financial support from the research Australian institution(s) must be attached to the application.
Social Science Collaborative Research Program
Deadline: 1 November 2023
This research funding program is intended to foster and reinforce social science collaboration between Australia and France through research activities on a topic of interest to both Australia and France, provided to eligible French and Australian researchers, especially early and mid-career researchers, research activities relevant to Pacific Island Studies (including those in French overseas territories), research activities relevant to the Indo-Pacific region, research activities with the capacity to support the development of strategic alliances between France and Australia. Proposals with a multidisciplinary or interdisciplinary character are encouraged.
