Media Changing the Story: media guidelines for the reporting of domestic, family and sexual violence in the Northern Territory

You are invited to the launch of Media Changing the Story: media guidelines for the reporting of domestic, family and sexual violence in the Northern Territory

These guidelines were developed to assist in promoting evidence-based media reporting on violence against women and their children, particularly in an Indigenous context. They aim to help readers, listeners and viewers understand how widespread domestic, family, and sexual violence is, who is affected, what drives it and how it can be prevented. The guidelines also break down some of the cultural and gender stereotypes that are often displayed in reporting.

» The launch will be livestreamed on  the Tangentyere Women's Family Safety Group Facebook page
