Managing change - turning iron into gold

Two evening workshop - Presented by the Women’s Information and Referral Centre.

Going through a change is never easy – and there is a psychological reason for that: our conscious mind (ego) perceives all departure from the familiar as a threat to our existence. That is why change automatically creates resistance, which leads to procrastination, anxiety and fear. The good news is that change does not have to be difficult, fearful or traumatic.  It is a natural and inevitable part of life, and it can be your friend, rather than your enemy.

In this powerful workshop, based on Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), you will learn not only how to manage change, but how to MASTER it, easily and effortlessly, with many tools and techniques working with both the conscious and unconscious mind. The workshop includes group NLP coaching interventions designed to resolve emotional and unconscious blockages obstructing the journey of change, and to embed focus, certainty and control. You will work with the current and anticipated changes, and will plan and create the desired changes in your life.

In this workshop, you will learn:

  • The physiology and psychology of change and how it affects you
  • How to re-program your response to change from negative to positive
  • Effective tools and strategies to retain control as you are going through a change
  • How to program the required change process the way you want
  • The 12 practical steps to effective change management in an organisational context
  • How to harness the power of change for your benefit – turning iron into gold
  • The power of your beliefs, values, strategies and other mind filters and how to make them work for you
