Professor Nevena Petrusic is the inaugural elected Commissioner for the Protection of Equality in Serbia. She was a member of The Governmental Gender Equality Council in Serbia, and the Council for Children’s Rights, and a member of the expert groups which drafted Serbia’s national gender equality law, and its model law for legal protection against domestic violence.
