Join us at The Long Table for lunch with Yasmin Abdel-Magied, petrol head, engineer, advocate and  author. A regular in Australia’s media, Yassmin is often sought after to comment on topics of race, gender, religion and youth. Passionate in all she does, especially about making diversity the norm, she has most recently created MUMTAZA a speaking agency for women of colour. But if all of this sounds very earnest, Yassmin has also proven herself as a quick wit, a warm conversationalist and one very stylish young women.

Yassmin Abdel-Magied is the Founder and CEO of MUMTAZA, a speaking agency for women of colour. The mechanical engineer and social advocate is an internationally sought-after speaker, after founding Youth Without Borders at the age of 16, and delivering a TED talk on unconscious bias. She published her first book, Yassmin's Story, aged 24, and her commentary has appeared in The New York TimesGuardian, on the BBC and more. She also hosts the TV show 'Australia Wide'.
