LIRC 2012 Seminar Series: Feminist judgments - making a difference

In this seminar Professor Hunter uses the UK Feminist Judgments Project and similar projects in other jurisdictions to reflect on debates about the difference that might be made by feminist judges, and the value of judicial diversity. The feminist judgment writing projects provide a concentrated source of empirical evidence on the scope for feminist judgment, the procedures and techniques of feminist judging, and the limitations of a feminist judicial approach. The seminar will therefore examine what these projects tell us about the nature and possibilities of feminist judging.
