Launch of Gender, Media and Cultural Studies Major

A celebration of the new Asian and Pacific Culture, Media and Gender Studies major

Daily life has never changed so fast. What does this mean for Asia and the Pacific?

We investigate the everyday power of culture, media, and gender. Through creative experiments, new technologies, and political protests, people across Asia and the Pacific have been rethinking the significance of traditional practices and longstanding gender roles in sometimes disruptive ways.

Current and past students and staff will showcase creative research projects and there will be information and advice available for prospective students.

Sushi and snacks will be provided!
