Launch of ACTing Out: Canberra's Very Queer History

Join the School of hisotry in reflecting on the 50th anniversary of LGBTIQ+ activism and reform in Canberra at the launch of ACTing Out, a new book on Canberra’s queer history by Graham Willett.

This is a time to celebrate how far we’ve come as a city, but more importantly to look to the future and how we will continue to advance LGBTIQ+ equality and support Canberra’s LGBTIQ+ communities. There is so much to be proud of, but much more work to do.

RSVPs welcome until 7 November via email LGBTIQOffice@act.gov.au.

This event is supported by the ACT Government Office for LGBTIQ+ Affairs and held in association with Canberra’s hosting of the 2019 Australian Homosexual Histories Conference (15-16 November at ANU).
