Justice Connections II - One day symposium

The Justice Research Group, Law School of the University of Canberra will be hosting a small and focused symposium with four sessions. The aims are to generate discussion and debate about justice administration and access within society.

  • Hon Michael Kirby AC CMG, Former Judge, High Court of Australia
  • Professor Margaret Thornton, ARC Australian Professorial Fellow ANU
  • Lorraine Walker, Chief Magistrate of the ACT
  • Dr Helen Watchirs OAM, ACT Human Rights Commissioner

 

Four sessions (four themes) each with three speakers and one discussant. The last part of each session will bring the intellectual 'threads' of session papers into a connected theme.
