'ANUQ' (the provisional name) is a group that would provide support for, and channel information to and from, queer-identified employees. It could help to ensure that members had access to, and input into "equity, diversity, and inclusion" initiatives (touching on workplace, hiring, or retirement issues, for instance). And for people new to Canberra, or without partners or families, it would provide a comfortable means to combat isolation.

This new initiative is in collaboration with the ANU Gender Institute.
