Gender Institute second birthday event podcast

The ANU Gender Institute celebrated its second anniversary on Friday 15 March 2013 in the Sir Roland Wilson Building at the ANU with 120 guests attending.

We were treated to five excellent speakers who provided a diverse range of thoughts and inspiration about ‘ANU by 2020 - Women and the Measures of Success’: How will the ANU meet its 2020 target of raising the percentage of female academics, especially at senior levels?

The podcast includes the welcoming address from incoming Convenor and chair for the lunch time event, Dr Fiona Jenkins, speakers' presentations and a lively debate including audence questions.

Speakers include: Professor Ian Young, Vice Chancellor; Professor Carola Vinuesa, Head of the Pathogens and Immunity Department at ANU John Curtin School of Medical Research; Professor Marian Sawer, Emeritus and Adjunct Professor in the School of Politics and International Relations, ANU College of Arts & Social Sciences; Professor Michael Coper, former Dean of ANU College of Law (up to 2012) and Ms Kelly Johnson, Senior Equity Consultant ANU Diversity & Workforce Planning Branch.
