Gender Institute IWD Morning Tea

For our celebration of International Women's Day 2022, and our return to campus after so much time, we are hosting a simple morning tea to allow all our members to come together again. Please take the chance to invite someone who shares our interests, but who may be new to ANU, to come along.

Professor Kim Rubenstein is a law professor, citizenship expert and human rights advocate. During her tenure at the ANU Kim taught citizenship law and administrative law, and from 2006-2015 was Director of the Centre for International and Public Law in the ANU College of Law. In 2011 she was appointed the inaugural Convenor of the ANU Gender Institute, a role she held for two years. Kim became an Honorary Professor at the ANU in 2020 after her move to the University of Canberra to take up the position of Co-Director, Academic of the 50/50 by 2030 Foundation.
 
On 17 August 2021 Kim announced her intention to run as an independent senate candidate for the Australian Capital Territory in the 2022 Australian federal election, and established the Kim for Canberra party.
