Gender and history node discussion group - 4th session

At this meeting we are privileged to have Dr Sinead McEneaney as our guest speaker. She will be seeking feedback on work she is preparing titled ‘“Not picketing in front of bra factories...”: revolutionary women and alternatives to the “second wave”’. Dr McEneaney is based in the History department at the Open University. Her research primarily focuses on gender and race in the 1960s. Most recently, she has published on sex and sexuality within the underground press in the USA, and on housing activism in Ireland. This Gender and History node discussion group will meet at 12.30pm on Monday 15 July in the Ann Curthoys Room, Coombs Building. (Please note the altered date – Monday rather than our usual Friday – and feel free to bring your lunch.) If you are able to join us please contact Dr Karen Downing for the reading.
