Gender and history node discussion group - 1st session

We are delighted to begin a new year by turning our thoughts to queer historiography with Laura Doan’s ‘Topsy-Turvydom: Gender, Sexuality, and the Problem of Categorization’, a chapter from her book Disturbing Practices: History, Sexuality, and Women’s Experience of Modern War (University of Chicago Press, 2013). Many of us will be new to the topic and Dr Katie Sutton will be on hand to guide us. We will meet at 12.30pm on Friday 22 March in Fellows Bar (outside if the weather allows).

If you are able to join us please contact Dr Karen Downingfor the reading
