Public panel discussion and book launch.

Five panellists will briefly address the topic: Sally Engle Merry (New York University), Kalpana Ram (Macquarie University), Kuntala Lahiri-Dutt, Anna Samson and Akshay Shanker (all of ANU), followed by public discussion. Chaired by Margaret Jolly.

The panel will be followed by light refreshments at 6.30 in the foyer of the Law Link Theatre and the launch of the recent book by Kalpana Ram, Fertile Disorder: Spirit Possession and its Provocation of the Modern (2013, University of Hawai’i Press) by Margaret Jolly
