Fostering Women’s Agency and Voice

The World Bank is undertaking a major study investigating key expressions of women’s voice and agency – including: freedom from gender based violence; women's access to and control over land; voice in society and political participation; freedom of movement; and decision making around family formation.

The discussion will provide a forum to review emerging findings, discuss lessons and challenges; identify good practices and successful interventions – both what works and what does not; and to help identify key partners in moving this work forward – to inform an upcoming global report.
