Feminist legal research group launch

The Feminist Legal Research Group of the Faculty of Law at the University of Technology Sydney is a group, comprising 27 academics, which represents a rich and diverse range of feminist legal scholarship.  The event will also be launching three new edited collections on feminist legal themes to which members of the group contributed:

  • Jaya Sagade, Vedna Jivan and Christine Forster (eds) Challenging Laws, Changing Laws: Feminism in the Subcontinent and Beyond (EBC Publishing, 2014).
  • Heather Douglas, Francesca Bartlett, Trish Luker and Rosemary Hunter (eds)Australian Feminist Judgments: Righting and Rewriting Law (Hart Publishing, 2014).
  • Beth Goldblatt and Lucie Lamarche (eds) Women’s Rights to Social Security and Social Protection (Hart Publishing, 2014).

Emeritus Professor Reg Graycar, a renowned feminist legal scholar and barrister, will speak at the launch.
