Enhancing gender in research and writing: workshop for graduate students

Gender is sometimes an under-developed component of graduate students’ research topics. This workshop is designed for students who would like to enhance the gender aspects of their research and writing by discussing their work with ‘gender experts’ from across campus and with other students.

Students who wish to participate should email Cathy Banwell with a brief abstract (200- 300 words) about their work by 8 July.

Students will be included irrespective of topic or their research progress. At the workshop students will present their work leading to a focussed discussion among students and experts of relevant theories, books and articles.

Dr Cathy Banwell is the Graduate Convenor, National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health, Research School of Population Health.

This event is supported by the ANU Gender Institute.

Further information: Cathy Banwell on 6125 0016 or Martina Fechner on 6125 6281 Monday- Wednesday.

Cost: This event is for ANU Graduate Students and there is no cost.
