In conversation with Jeff Buchanan

Violence against women is destroying communities in Papua New Guinea. Earlier this year, Australians were shocked to hear news of women being tortured and killed in PNG, accused of being sorcerers. Around International Women’s Day more than one million people engaged in our campaign to raise awareness of violence against women. This event is a chance to hear from UN Women’s Country Representative in PNG and to ask questions about what works, what doesn’t and how you can be part of the global response needed to end violence.

The discussion will follow the formal proceedings of the UN Women NC Australia Annual General Meeting. Supporters and guests are invited to attend.

Refreshsments will be included.
