Celebrate leadership on the rights of women with disabilities

You are invited to an evening celebration and conversation with a focus on disability rights for women, leadership and governance. Women With Disabilities ACT is celebrating International Day of People With Disability, our recent incorporation marking 20 years of achievements and closing the evening with an AGM.

The evening program features keynote speaker Jax Jacki Brown, reknowned Melbourne based women's disability rights campaigner. Jax is a spoken word performer, disability and LGBTIQ consultant, writer, public speaker, workshop designer, facilitator and adovcate for the reproductive rights of women with disaibliities.

Canberra singer Ruth O'Brien also joins us to perform her jazz and original favourites.

With networking time provided and the launch of key pieces of work on violence prevention and reproductive rights, you do not want to miss this year's Women With Disabilities ACT gala event.

Selection of canapes and refreshments available on arrival.

This is a free, accessible, Auslan interpreted event, with hearing loop.
