Why Inequalities Matter
In the face of widespread evil and injustice in the world, why should we care about mere inequalities? Brennan argues for the moral importance on inequality paying special attention to the problems posed by micro-inequities.
Samantha Brennan works in the field of moral and political philosophy, with a special interest in contemporary normative ethics, especially feminist approaches to ethics. She also works on issues of children’s rights and family justice. Samantha Brennan is a Professor of Philosophy in the Department of Philosophy at TheUniversity of Western Ontario. She is also a member of the Rotman Institute of Philosophy and an affiliate member of the Departmentof Women's Studies and Feminist Research.
