Beryl Women Inc. 40th birthday celebration

Beryl Women Inc., is a local organisation which provides crisis accommodation and therapeutic support for women and children escaping domestic and family violence in the ACT. Beryl is the oldest refuge in the ACT and will be holding a 40th birthday celebration on 4 March 2015 at Tilley’s Devine Café Gallery.

To celebrate 40 years of supporting women and their accompanying children escaping domestic and family violence in the ACT, and as part of International Women’s Day celebrations, the event will feature stories of former clients and performances, and will include the launch of a book on Beryl’s history. Guests will have an opportunity to purchase the book for a donation towards Beryl Women Inc.’s children’s program. The book will be launched jointly by ACT Minister for Women the Hon Yvette Berry MLA and the Hon Jenny Macklin MP.

Canapés and refreshments will be provided.  All are welcome.
