Annual Gender Institute Prizes for Excellence in Gender Research - award ceremony and book launch

ANU Gender Institute is delighted to invite friends and colleagues to this year's annual event to announce the 2015 Gender Institute Prizes for Excellence in Gender Research. The award ceremony for some of our most outstanding students will go from 4-5pm, followed by afternoon tea with macaroons, from 5-5:30pm.

We are thrilled that the new Sex Discrimination Commissioner Kate Jenkins has agreed to participate and also launch a book that evolved from a jointly run ANU Gender Institute and Centre for International and Public Law workshop – The Public Law of Gender: From the Local to the Global - details of the book here.

Most importantly, it will be a great opportunity for members and friends to gather and celebrate another year of the ANU Gender Institute's work and meet with colleagues, so we truly hope you can make every effort to be there. Children and babies are welcome, as at all Gender Institute events!

Please RSVP online for catering purposes.
