Activist training

Action Aid Canberra is holding a training for people looking to become local activists We are looking for a group of skilled, diverse and passionate people to be trained as activist volunteers. If you’re passionate about women’s rights and ending poverty, have some spare time on your hands and want to be connected to a likeminded group of people then this might be the gig for you!

This one-day training is for new activists to skill up in community organising, campaigning and ActionAid’s Human Rights Based Approach. It’s also an opportunity to connect with the Australia-wide network of ActionAid volunteers, as well as the broader ActionAid global network.
