1915–2015: Resolutions for a sustainable peace — then and now

A Passion for Peace conversation event to discover together the remarkable resolutions from the International Congress of Women held at The Hague in April 1915 and their ongoing impact on international human rights law.

This event is part of the lead up to a major musical production called 'A Passion for Peace' A Chorus of Women is preparing for 28 April to 1 May next year. It is inspired by the spirit of the 1300 women who participated in the 'International Congress of Women' at The Hague 100 years previously. The delegates - from both warring and neutral nations - met to draft visionary resolutions aimed at ending World War I and establishing permanent peace.
