UN Resolution 1325: study group on women, peace and security

Join the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) for study sessions on UN Resolution 1325 and the Women, Peace and Security agenda.

Learn about the origins of 1325 and its practical application and help formulate suggestions to be included in the follow-up Resolution (2020). Experts will be available each week to share their knowledge and expertise.

Libby Lloyd, who was to have led the group on the 27th, has had to defer her input until September 12, so we have her expertise to look forward to (mark your diaries!)

On Monday 27th June a selection of short films directly relating to the topic will be shown, and these will provide both insight and food for thought.
Please note that newcomers will not be disadvantaged by not having attended before.  The sessions are lively and interesting with lots of opportunity for discussion. Plenty of free parking in the near vicinity.
