Research Assistant (ANU level 5/6) - Menzies Centre for Health Governance
The Menzies Centre for Health Governance in RegNet is looking for an energetic Research Assistant (ANU level 5/6) to support work on the social and commercial determinants of health. The position is fulltime for 11 months. The RA work will include desktop reviews of scholarly literature; supporting the analysis of policy documents; coordinating key informant interviews; supporting the preparation of manuscripts and bibliographies, and coordination of project team meetings. In the first instance, the Candidate will support Professor Sharon Friel and Dr Belinda Townsend in an ARC Linkage project aiming to generate new knowledge on how non-government organisations can effectively regulate harmful commodity industries, specifically alcohol and highly-processed food. Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Endnote software is essential and familiarity with NVivo is desirable.
