To help promote collaboration and linkages between researchers at ANU, individual scholars align themselves with one or more of the Gender Institutes subject areas or nodes. Click on people’s names below to find out more about them.

Convenor

Dr Fiona Jenkins became the Convenor of the Gender Institute in 2013. She is based in the School of Philosophy, Research School of Social Sciences in the ANU College of Arts & Social Sciences. Her own work on gender includes research in feminist and queer theory, problems of violence, and on the status and contribution of women in academic disciplines.

Management committee

Throughout the year the Gender Institute Management Committee assists the Convener in determining the directions of the Gender Institute, including the selection of the grant applications and prizes for excellence in research.
