Women’s Centre for Health Matters' Safety Mapping Tool (Canberra)

The Women’s Centre for Health Matters are providing information to ACT Government about areas that need improvement for public safety, in particular safety for women. Telling us where you feel safe or unsafe, and why you feel that way, helps us understand what needs to be done to improve Canberra for everyone.

Do you walk, cycle, or do other activities in public spaces? Do you use a pram, walking aid, or wheelchair, or have other mobility or accessibility needs that make a difference to feeling safe in public spaces?

The Centre is particularly looking for information about how women feel in Gungahlin, Woden, Mawson and Macarthur Avenue as the ACT Government are currently reviewing these areas.
