Sex discrimination commissioner Kate Jenkins publishes report on gender equality

On International Women's Day Federal Sex Discrimination Commissioner Kate Jenkins launched a report detailing the insights and stories from her recent consultations across Australia.

Since becoming Sex Discrimination Commissioner, she has met with more than 1000 people from every state and territory in Australia. The report A conversation in gender equality is not a statistical analysis of stakeholders but rather focuses on the lived experiences of a group of people from different backgrounds. The report shares the stories across eight themes emerging from these conversations and some insights on where to from here. The report is available for download online.

A short video outlining the eight themes which emerged from the Commissioner's conversations can be viewed here.
