Nominations for ACMC Women, Peace and Security (WPS) workshop – 14 December 2015

The Australian Government is committed to the implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security (UNSCR1325); and the Australian National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security 2012-2018.  As part of this commitment, the Australian Civil-Military Centre (ACMC) will deliver a WPS Workshop for whole-of-government stakeholders from 0900-1200 on Monday 14 December in Queanbeyan.

The purpose of this Workshop is to increase civil, military and police practitioner’s baseline understanding of UNSCR1325 and how to operationalise WPS.

This Workshop is open to Australian government and non-government staff (at the APS5-EL1 or equivalent level). 

Nominations are due by COB 6 December 2015 via email to Ms Amy Sheridan, Assistant Director Preparedness, ACMC,  and are to include your name, organisation and a short justification for attendance.

Detailed information about the Workshop including pre-reading and administrative instructions will be emailed to attendees closer to the date.
