The Melbourne-based workplace relations firm was recently recognised for its commitment to flexible work at the Australian Human Resources Institute’s (AHRI) Inclusion and Diversity Awards. The firm was awarded the prestigious Sir Ken Robinson Award for Workplace Flexibility, an award category which included Telstra, Caltex and Suncorp. The award recognises outstanding people management initiatives which allow diverse groups of employees to flourish through flexible work practices.
Justitia’s initiative – which it has implemented since the firm commenced in 2005 – is a presumptive model of flexible work. In other words, it is presumed that all lawyers will work flexibly around their personal commitments.
