Country Context Paper Author - Myanmar

Investing in Women is an initiative of the Australian Government aimed at women’s economic empowerment in four South East Asian economies: Indonesia, Philippines, Myanmar and Vietnam.  


Investing in Women is recruiting four authors to write country context papers for Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines and Vietnam. Each recruited author will write one paper focusing on one country building on their in-depth knowledge of the political economy and women economic empowerment frameworks of that particular country. The paper for each country will provide a snapshot of women’s economic empowerment focusing on women in the world of work (employees) and as small and medium business owners/managers (entrepreneurs).


Each of the easy-to-read papers should be written in English, maximum 12 single-spaced pages long in Word format, with a maximum of two tables or figures if appropriate, and no quotations.

Each author is expected to work for a total of 15 days. Remuneration is in accordance with DFAT’s Aid Adviser Remuneration Framework (ARF) - C3 classification.
