EOI for Women with Disabilities ACT (WWDACT) steering committee

Women with Disabilities ACT (WWDACT) operates in the ACT and Region. We work to improve the profile, status and lives of women with disabilities through a range of mechanisms including our relationship with government and our presence on various advisory committees. We use Human Rights Conventions to guide our thinking, in particular the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and the Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW).

Our Steering Committee currently has vacancies for new members. There will be opportunities to also do representative work.

Women with disabilities are invited to send an EXPRESSION OF INTEREST to: WWDACT Steering Committee at sudata@optusnet.com.au and tell us how you want to contribute to WWDACT.
